Croissant Bread Pudding

This croissant bread pudding is unreal—rich cinnamon-spiced perfection with a splash of bourbon to take it over the top. If you’re not celebrating Fat Tuesday with this, you’re doing it wrong.

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Step 2

Combine white sugar and brown sugar, then divide in half.

2 1/4 cups White sugar

1/2 cup Brown sugar

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, whisk together cinnamon, eggs, vanilla, bourbon, salt, and half of the sugar mixture.

1 tbsp Cinnamon

6 Eggs

1 tbsp Vanilla

1 tbsp Bourbon

1 pinch Salt

Step 4

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, then add half & half and the remaining sugar. Bring to a boil.

1 stick Butter

1 quart Half & half

Step 5

Slowly whisk the hot milk mixture into the egg mixture to temper it.

Step 6

Add croissants to the mixture and let them soak.

3-4 boxes Croissants

Step 7

Stir in diced apples and raisins.

1/2 cup Raisins

Step 8

Pour into a casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes or until set.
