Method

Turn cooking mode on

1.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2.

Spread the sausage over the puff pastry sheet leaving a one-inch border on all sides.

1 lb Uncooked ground sausage

1 sheet Puff pastry

3.

Sprinkle the green onions and cheddar cheese on the top of the sausage.

1/2 cup Green onions

1/2 cup White cheddar cheese

4.

Roll the pastry like a jelly roll, starting with the widest side of the rectangle.

5.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for four hours. At this point, it can be frozen, but thaw completely before proceeding with the recipe.

6.

Slice the roll into half-inch slices.

7.

Place on a greased baking sheet.

8.

Brush with egg wash and bake until golden and sausage is cooked through, about 30 minutes.
